PDC Public Defense College

The PDC team, in conjunction with the National Legal Aid and Defender Association (NLADA) and more than two dozen faculty from around Idaho and across the nation, host a rigorous training program emphasizing trial skills, client-centered strategies and the building of supportive networks. PDC2 is open to PDC roster attorneys of all experience levels. Small groups of participants develop trial skills using a case problem. The faculty to student ratio is expected to be 2:5. Enrollment is limited.

We welcome you to apply for the PDC Public Defense College (PDC2) which will be held virtually Sunday, May 21 to Friday, May 26, 2023.

Before you apply, please be aware that participants are expected to attend the full program. Admission is limited and open to Defending Attorneys from the PDC Public Defense Roster. This will be an intensive program requiring preparation for each session and your attendance during the day and evenings. Your office is expected to provide full coverage for your cases and consider you unavailable.
